Oppidam Self-Catering Guesthouse is your home away from home.

We are situated in the picture perfect Vanderkloof, with magnificent views of the Vanderkloof Dam and the surrounding mountains.

The house offers 4 spacious bedrooms. A camping cot is available for your convenience.
The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin. The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin.
There is a spacious open-plan living room/lounge/dining room/kitchen with a separate scullery. The lounge and dining room glass sliding doors opens up to the front porch with a braai facility and splash pool.
The dam and mountains are visible throughout the whole of the living area and stoep.

The well-equipped kitchen has a gas hob with electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, and sufficient crockery, cutlery, pots and pans to ensure a comfortable stay.
Linen and bath towels are supplied.
There are safe under-cover parking for two vehicles.
Free Wi-Fi and DSTV through streaming.

The famous OppieDek Braai Restaurant is situated next to the property offering breakfasts, light lunches and dinners.

Vanderkloof was originally developed for the purpose of building the dam, but is now a popular holiday destination in the Northern Cape.
Obvious reasons for escaping to Vanderkloof are: Water sports such as kayaking, fishing, fly-fishing, skiing, boating and sailing, animal and bird life, walking trails and cycling opportunities.
Walking trails include the Pied Barbet Trail in the Rolfontein Nature Reserve, which is also worth visiting.
Vanderkloof Dam is the second largest dam in South Africa, but has the highest dam wall of 108m.
One of only two hydro power stations in South-Africa is situated in the dam wall and can be visited by prior arrangement.
